You can apply for recognition of existing qualifications or skills, knowledge, and experience (credit transfer or recognition of prior learning) as per the information included in our International Student Handbook, which is available at www.ausfordcollege.edu.au  

If you are granted course credit, this will affect your course fees as well as the duration of your course.  We will advise you in writing of changes to fees or course duration because of the credit. You will also be issued with a new Confirmation of Enrolment.

Ausford College has the following entry requirements:

You must:                                                                                                                                                       

  • be at least 18 years of age and have completed the equivalent of Year 12.
  • participate in a course entry interview to determine suitability for the course and student needs.
  • have an IELTS* score of 5.5 (test results must be no more than 2 years old). English language competence can also be demonstrated through documented evidence of any of the following:
    • educated for 5 years in an English-speaking country; or
    • successful completion of an English Placement Test.
  • Have completed one of the following qualifications: BSB50820 Diploma of Project Management; or BSB51415 Diploma of Project Management (or a superseded equivalent version).

or

  • Have completed two years of equivalent full-time relevant workplace experience at a significant level within a project or program environment within an enterprise.

Other English language tests such as PTE and TOEFL can be accepted. You are required to provide your results so that we can confirm they are equivalent to IELTS 5.5.

A detailed payment plan and payment arrangements are provided in the Offer Letter and Student Agreement. You must pay all your course fees and be on time. Non-payment of fees may result in cancellation of enrolment. 

You must also take out Overseas Health Insurance Cover before arriving in Australia. Ausford College provides details of OSHC providers in the International Student Handbook. You can approach these providers to determine the costs and organise your coverage.

The application process is outlined below: 

Step 1:

Complete and send your Application for Enrolment Form to us. Make sure you include any supporting documents if there are entry requirements for your chosen course. These may include verified copies of previous qualifications, your passport, previous schooling and English testing results.

Step 2:

When we receive your application for enrolment, we will assess it against the course requirements. If your application is verified, we will arrange an interview with you. Your interview may be in person (if you are in Australia) or via phone or Skype.

Step 3:

Your application will then be processed and if you are successful you will be issued with a Offer Letter and Student Agreement. If you were unsuccessful, we will be in touch to advise you of the outcome and provide advice about other suitable options or what you need to do before reapplying.

Step 4:

Carefully review your Offer Letter and Student Agreement and make sure your course fees, duration and payment plan are correctly stated. Read through all of the included policies and procedures and if you are in agreement, sign and return to us and we will then issue you with an invoice.

Step 5:

Once we have received your first payment, you will be issued with an electronic Confirmation of Enrolment (COE). Use this document to apply for your visa with the Department of Home Affairs. Once your visa is granted, make sure you arrive in Australia in time for your first class and orientation session.
